Bonacquisti Brothers & Associates, Inc. was hired as the Design Build contractor by the Albany Academies for a full architectural restoration and upgrade of the historic “Buttery”, the school’s main Cafeteria. The kitchen areas were also renovated, and although some modern additions were made to the Buttery such as a new acoustical ceilings and ceiling lighting, special attention was paid to restoring the wood work to its original look. Custom made windows, special wood panels, columns and moldings were fabricated to match the existing woodwork in the 200 year old school.
